Our premium Heather Honey is from selecting our strongest hives that have new prolific queens laying well which we take to the New Forest during the Heather Season (August - end of September). We have frequently won awards at National level for our Heather Honey.
This honey is neither runny or set. It has a thixotropic consistency with a distinctive full bodied floral flavour. Got to admit - this is MY favourite! A spoonful of heather honey in coffee first thing in the morning - addictive! (Also available as cut comb - honey in it’s purest form).
Heather honey is rich in antioxidants, similar to that of Manuka honey, making it a good natural remedy for ailments, wounds and cuts.
